Ode to Witchcraft at Julien Fournié Fall Winter 2019 during Haute Couture Fashion Week The French designer, permanent member of the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture since 2017, celebrates his tenth anniversary for his Couture House. His fantastic collection Premier Sortilège was not only a Couture Collection but a performance inspired by Theatre, Cinema, and History. The show was held at the Oratory of the Louvre, bathed in the dimmed daylight by stained glass windows and the acoustics with a background of suspenseful music. Witches, victims of a bad reputation by old tails and horror films, take a new dimension under the eye of Julien. His vision of witches are more stimulating than repulsive. This season the Fournié woman has a cold beauty expressing her strength by advancing with determination and spin on herself to shine with a voluminous dress that fascinates with iridescent reflections, reminiscent of the fascinating vision of an aurora borealis. Black gives the tone from the first look with a structured alligator blazer, worn with a long pleated skirt. Gently colors are incorporated in the collection, like with the chiffon folded gothic blouses with embroidered bibs. Velvet fabric gives depth and boldness to evening tailoring throughout the collection. Julien FOURNIE uses his couturier talents to create trompe l\'œil effects. Sculpted silhouettes give birth to hybrids of archetypes like a military dress coat, worn with a headdress, made of high feathers. As the show closed, snow fell from the ceiling, as the audience marveling at the wedding gown joined by Julien for a joyful dance. written by Youness Boumia Click HERE to view the full Julien Fournié Fall Winter 2019 Haute Couture collection. #article #julienfournie #julienfourniearticle #julienfourniefw19 #younessboumia #hcfw #hcfwarticle #lappartpr #lappartprarticle Julien-Fournie-HC-FW19-Paris-7196-1562091597Julien-Fournie-HC-FW19-Paris-6737-1562090659Julien-Fournie-HC-FW19-Paris-6799-1562090769Julien-Fournie-HC-FW19-Paris-7007-1562091231

Julien Fournié Spring Summer 2019 during Haute Couture Fashion Week Formerly designing for the haute couture fashion house Torrente, in 2009 Julien Fournié started his own namesake label. Each season he continues to present at haute couture fashion week where he quickly grew to be one of the top designer brands. For this Spring Summer 2019 collection, designer Julien Fournié has titled it First Bliss. He was inspired by the island of Lanzarote, which is located off the coast of Morocco. Using a rich color palette that you might imagine seeing on an island, natural and various sandy browns, beige, white, ocean blues, navy, gray and tree greens are incorporated. Cheetah print, snake print, an artistic print of trees and a print made of black, cream and gray swirl lines are also placed throughout the collection. Of course the island of Lanzarote is not where the inspiration stops. Fournié adds an additional inspiration of Hollywood glamour. Uniquely, he doesn\'t choose just one time period in Hollywood to reflect upon but instead chooses many different aspects over time from Hollywood to draw inspiration. My favorite look from the show is a dress made with a light brown scaly textured leather covering the arms and most of the upper body, a darker brown material that flowed and had movement was placed on the sides and on the back lower half of the dress which was accented with a belt wrapped only around 1/3rd of the waist and a small crossbody bag in the matching leather. This was the perfect touch. written by Style is Viral Click HERE to view the full Julien Fournié Spring Summer 2019 collection. #article #julienfournie #julienfourniearticle #julienfourniess19 #styleisviral #hcfw #hcfwarticle #lappartpr #lappartprarticle MTczNjgxLmpwZwMTczNjQ3LmpwZwMTczNzQyLmpwZwMTczMjkzLmpwZw

Tony Ward Spring Summer 2019 during Haute Couture Fashion Week The Tony Ward SS19 Haute Couture collection was an ethereal high fashion parade drawing inspiration from the anatomy of the dragonfly. Set in the l’École-de-Médecine in Paris, the models glided along the catwalk in the insect inspired ensembles. The color palette consisted of whites, beiges, pastel pinks, regal purples and magentas, contrasting blacks, emerald greens and shimmery metallics. Some pieces were sculptural, angled and larger than life while others were more form fitting both mirroring different aspects of the insect’s anatomy. Stand out pieces included a figure-hugging silver dress sequined in its entirety, sporting a voluminous layered structure covering one sleeve and topped off with a train, an elaborately embellished playsuit with protruding wings at the shoulders also sporting a train and a long flowing black dress with angled sleeves and a sculpted bodice adorned with iridescent detailing reminiscent of the fragmented dragonfly wings. Shiny iridescent fabrics added glitz and tonal dragonfly wing prints were also seen. Whether form fitting or voluminous, the elaborately embellished pieces dazzlingly displayed great attention to detail. Overall all pieces were red carpet ready except for the flamboyant floor length bridal gown exhibiting nature inspired embroidery. Accessories included lace heels, jeweled glitzy headpieces from milliner Yana Markova and the occasional encrusted mask. The models sported sleek top knots, edgy black eyeliner, bold eyeshadow and a nude lips. Overall the collection was ethereal extravagance at its finest, a sparkly avant-garde interpretation of a dragonfly. written by Jane Ighodaro Click HERE to view the full Tony Ward Spring Summer 2019 collection. #article #tonyward #tonywardarticle #tonywardss19 #janeighodaro #hcfw #hcfwarticle #lappartpr #lappartprarticle hauturely_fashionshow_tonyward_pfwss19-17hauturely_fashionshow_tonyward_pfwss19-3hauturely_fashionshow_tonyward_pfwss19-14hauturely_fashionshow_tonyward_pfwss19-32
